How the NowMi treatment works:

The NowMi Basic kit contains an applicator, 6 vitamin C effervescent tablets, and one 100 ml lubricant gel tube. For each treatment you will need one effervescent tablet.

To achieve the best results, you should administer the treatment once a week.

The NowMi treatment performs 4 skin actions simultaneously- exfoliation, nourishment, skin oxygenation and protection.

Exfoliation: You begin by placing the vitamin C effervescent tablet into the applicator and put gel on the tablet, begin to massage your face. The interaction between the gel and the tablet dissolves the particles of the effervescent tablet.  The tablet gently exfoliates the outer layer of the skin and rids it of unwanted dead cells, smoothens the skin, and allows for the optimal penetration of nutrients into the skin.

Nourishment:  During treatment, the skin is infused with vitamin C, vitamin E and Hyaluronic acid. The effervescent tablet contains vitamin C.  Unlike other vitamin C serums and creams, the tablet is sealed until use to ensure the purest concentration of vitamin C penetrates the skin (the potency of vitamin C dramatically reduces when it is exposed to air and light).   Vitamin C is a powerful anti-oxidant that has anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and anti-pigmentary attributes. In addition, the NowMi gel contains vitamin E and Hyaluronic acid which help the skin maintain its moisture and firmness, and the vitamin E further enhances the effectiveness of the vitamin C.

Skin Oxygenation: The interaction between the effervescent tablet and the gel creates micro CO₂ bubbles that penetrate the facial skin’s surface.  In response to the increase in CO₂  levels, the body sends oxygen rich blood to the target area.  This is a completely natural response called the Bohr Effect. The facial skin oxygenation process increases the capillary flow and the skin’s metabolism which results in the optimal absorption of the active ingredients.

Protection: Vitamin C and E are powerful antioxidants that help the skin fight free radicals.  Many free radicals are formed as a result of damaging extrinsic factors such as exposure to the sun, pollution and smoke.  With age, the amount of vitamin C and E in the skin significantly decreases  and the skin cannot counteract their harmful effects.  As a result, the skin is damaged and ages prematurely.
